Today...

is the 40th...FORTIETH...anniversary of mine and Mike's first date. 

How did THAT happen? 

We both forgot. I remembered this morning and then failed to remind him until this evening. 

It's official; we're old AF. 

If someone would have told me then that I would marry this man, raise three amazing adults, be gifted with four perfect grandchildren, and still be together in our late fifties, I'd have not believed it. 

It seems like so long ago, and yet it seems like yesterday. 

It is crazy how fast time flies. 

It is crazy how beautiful life can be. 

Thank you, and Happy Anniversary to us.

Today...

Quiet morning.

Coffee and breakfast while watching the sunrise up over the trees at the creek.

Starting to put things back where they were, opening up some space around here.

Helping Jesse and Bri with their move.

Bri and I got their kitchen set up.

Watching Jesse mow his own lawns with his new mower.

Enjoying hanging out in their little house and the vibe of the neighborhood.

Bri's cousin showing up with lunch for everyone.

Meeting a few of their neighbors.

Appreciating the time I had them here with us and now, the quiet space. 

Listening to my Editing playlist while working on photos. 

Practicing my brush lettering.

A cocktail, kettle chips, and chocolate chips. Not together but, yeah, off the Keto wagon today.

Today...

Thursday with Logan.

Finally got him out for a walk.

We walked over the little green hills and bridges, and through the "woods" to pick flowers and see the ducklings.

Logan had soup for lunch at his little table on the patio. 

We watched part of  'The Batman Lego Movie." 

Loving the 80 ish degree weather we are having.

Jesse and Bri taking care of dinner tonight.

Spaghetti, Caeser salad for dinner, and a glass of red wine for me.

A nice cool evening hanging out it the backyard.

Another fun full day with LMT
French toast with bananas, strawberries, and bacon for breakfast
Watched 'Moana' again
Lunch date with Hubs and LMT
A trip to the park
Then a trip to Target
"Shopping, hot dogs, and the park make me tired." ~ LMT
Also, we are currently into the three-year-old "Why" stage
A snack and the movie 'Home' to finish off our afternoon

Another sunny and 74° day
Got my hair done. Always a good thing
Getting some work done before we leave Friday
Visited the kittens at Petco. I just need to pet them, not bring them home.
Mailed out Valentines to my grandchildren
Dinner tonight: Air Fryer Pork Chops, sweet potato rounds, broccoli and zucchini

Saw the juvenile Great Blue Heron again
Got to have lunch and a good chat with my son
