Today...

We kayaked until sunset. It was absolutely gorgeous out there and just what we needed.
I'm toast.
The end.

Today...

I walked in the rain, the wind, and the sunshine. And again, I was reminded how much I love being out in nature, especially right now. Then I went to Barnes and Noble. I can't remember the last time I stepped into a bookstore. So many books, and I want to read them all. I only bought two... this time. I'll be back.

Today...

We woke up to a crisp 37º.
It's still my favorite time of the year.
Partly cloudy skies and afternoon walks in the hills soaking up the sun are the best, especially when I bring my camera.

 Today…

The sky shows Mother Nature is putting on lately.

I just can’t get enough of them.

A morning walk before the temperature started climbing.

Listening to Brene Brown’s Podcast with Glennon Doyle.

A wonderful two-hour phone call with my Julie!!

Our eye doctor who is such a joy to visit.

My prescription has not changed much, thank you.

Mike home early from work and feeling a little bit better today.

Jesse stopping by to help us with the generator.

Grilled t-bone steaks, sauteed mushrooms, and salad for dinner.

Watching season 2 of Yellowstone.

Sitting outside, under the patio cover, just watching the show.

It went on for hours.

Sunday.

Paleo waffles, homemade pork sausage, and berries for breakfast.

Texting with my girls.

Power and air conditioning.

Researching the history of Abiquiu, New Mexico.

Listening to 70’s pop while editing photos.

Today…(Saturday 8-15-20)

Thoughts on my morning walk: no matter how crazy and messed up so many things are right now, we still have Mother Nature. Blue sky, trees, air, flowers, birds, animals, and more.

Power and air conditioning. Currently 104º and rising.

Making breakfast for me and MIke.

A great phone conversation with my boy. We talked about his work, their house, politics, or rather politicians, and found out we are both on the same episode of Yellowstone.

Logan’s birthday party at Jesse and Bri’s with just the families.

Jesse getting into the kiddie pool to cool off and play with the kids.

Getting to see and talk to other people in person.

Enjoying an evening out of my house.

That sky!

Air conditioning.
