Today...
CynCyn made us egg, bacon, and cheddar cheese sandwiches for breakfast.
We got to meet Miss Paisley Jo today!
So tiny, sweet, and adorable.
Logan wants to hold her as much as everyone else.
If he's not playing PJ Masks with CynCyn.
Jesse and Bri are in love and much calmer this time around.
Took CynCyn to see Mike's office.
Deneen came to visit. We all wore our masks.
We had 'whatever' for dinner.
Wine and chocolate cake for dessert.

Today…

Nine, yes, NINE, hours of sleep.

Stretching before I got out of bed.

A two-mile walk while listening to a Chase Jarvis and Liz Gilbert podcast, before breakfast.

Stopping to drop off a card and wish our neighbor Jim a Happy Birthday.

Watering my garden.

Watching a Bee gathering pollen from my sunflower. Amazing.

Getting the grocery shopping done.

Staying off devices and social media most of the day. Got the news from my Sister.

Talking to my Dr. CynCyn. 25 more days.

Appreciating Whole30 vs Keto because - more vegetables and...sweet potatoes.

Evening conversations with Mike.

Sheet pan fajitas with cilantro lime riced cauliflower for dinner.

Today…

The sun is coming up later and later.

Watching all the birds come in while watering this morning.

We had a whole family of Bluebirds eating mealworms at the patio table.

My Mammoth Sunflower is blooming. A little short but it’s perfect for photographing.

I found three different things I had been looking for over the last few weeks/months.

All because the garbage disposal broke. Silver linings.

Took an early morning trip to Walmart.

Then a late morning trip to Lowes.

The garbage disposal has been replaced. I am so grateful my husband is mechanically inclined.

Grateful to our new neighbors, who have spotted two fires in the creek behind our house before they got out of control.

Laundry done.

BLT’s for dinner.

Today...
Another morning photography session with the sunflowers.
Breakfast with my Logan.
Reading books, playing PJ Masks, hanging out, having fun.
Dinosaur shaped peanut butter sandwiches for lunch.
Bribing him with chocolate chips to change out of his dirty "PayJays"
Jesse told Alexa to call Melissa and Logan talked to her and Sofia. So cute.
Escrow closed today on Jesse and Bri's house.
Tonight is their last night here.
I'm looking forward to quiet and more space, but I'm also going to miss them being here.
Watching Mike and Logan feed the birds and then sit on the patio watching them together.
Pork chops, mashed sweet potatoes, and fresh green beans for dinner with my boys.

Today...
Sunday.
Got out of bed, grabbed my camera and lenses, and headed to the backyard to photograph the wild sunflowers in the morning light.
Brunch with Mike.
And a short walk together before it got warm.
Finally, talked to my Melissa. Must not wait so long between phone calls.
Catching up with my Sister.
Editing photos while listening to Led Zeppelin.
Finished Wolfpack. It was a quick, inspirational, and empowering read. Lots of highlighting done.
Grilled Chicken and corn on the cob with a Greek Salad for dinner. Made by Jesse and Bri.
